Emperor's Pavillion (Kaiserpavillon)
Emperor Francis Stephen of Lorraine (1708-1765) founded the Schönbrunn Zoo in 1752. In 1759, the Emperor built a magnificent pavillion in the center of the zoo. It is decorated with opulent frescoes, oil paintings, and mirrors. Today the pavillion is home to the Emperor's Pavillion Café & Restaurant (Café Restaurant Kaiserpavillon). After the zoo is closed, the pavillion can be rented for exclusive evening events. Start your evening with an aperitif in the Aquarium House (Aquarienhaus), surrounded by tigers and cheetahs in the Big Cats House (Großkatzenhaus), or out on the Elephant Gallery (Elefantengalerie).

The "exotic charm" of this event location is not only highlighted by the nearby orangutans, but also by the attractive interior architecture and room decoration with its "Orangutan" and "History of Austrian film and television" themes. The great hall with state-of-the art media technology plus the zoo dining services under the management of gourmet chef Siegfried Kröpfl, the magnificent view of the park, the large terrace, and the unique atmosphere of this architectural jewel lend a unique festive ambience to banquets, conventions, lectures, concerts, and presentations, as well as business and private anniversaries, parties, and ceremonies of all kinds. Whether for "seated dinners," receptions, or private parties: thanks to the flexible design of the event area furnishings and equipment, individual arrangements are no problem and a unique atmosphere can be guaranteed for any event for up to 300 guests.

Tyrolean Garden Restaurant
Original Tyrolean Hospitality - in Schönbrunn! The Tyrolean Garden Restaurant is accessible from both the zoo and from the Schönbrunn Palace Gardens. For zoo visitors, the "Tyrolean Parlour", a self-service restaurant which seats about 35 visitors has been built. The magnificent outdoor dining area, the "Swarovski Parlour" on the ground floor (up to a maximum of 55 persons) and the "Archduke Johann Parlour" on the first floor (with a capacity up to a maximum of 95 persons) are open to the visitors of the Palace Gardens and to all guests before entering or leaving the zoo. All floors of the Tyrolean Garden Restaurant can be rented. In the warm season a shadowy outdoor seating area invites to stay.
Elephant Park
Watch the elephants in an undisturbed and exclusive atmosphere. The gallery and lecture hall are available all day long, the groundfloor is reserved for evening events only!
Ideal for lectures (80 to 100 persons); cocktail parties (for 100 to 150 persons) out on the gallery and/or on the groundfloor are also possible Tirolerhof Restaurant In the rustic atmosphere of the original farm house built in 1722, there are two rooms (sitting room with fireplace and kitchen with original stove) available for small events (press conferences, birthday parties, etc.).

South American Park
Exotic flair with view on the flat sharing community of South America (giant anteater, capybara, lowland-tapir and seriema) and the countryside of the pampas where live greater rhea and wood stork.

Big Cats House
The "Cat Theater" (Katzenkino) is located between the indoor pens for the tigers and jaguars. It is ideal for cocktail partys, film presentations during award ceremonies, lectures, etc.

Aqua-Terrarium House (Aqua-Terrarienhaus)
A unique ambience in the midst of the aquarium and terrarium landscape with the largest coral reef tank in Europe, a fascinating tunnel aquarium, the Nile crocodiles, and the flamingo viewing station.
